About Ca'Lucciola

Ca' Lucciola literally means House (Casa) of the Fireflies, they can be seen in the garden and the fields around the villa in some seasons. The villa, surrounded by the river Metauro and it's green area has a lot to offer to those who seek nature in a private rustic environment. Only 15 minutes away from the beautiful Adriatic coastline you will find shops, a great selection of fine restaurants and beaches.
The villa has 3 separate houses/apartments, all with private entrances. The beautiful garden has olive and fruit trees, lovely flowers and a large swimming pool (size: 6 x 12 metres). The large veranda/patio, pool, garden, garden furniture, pizza oven and barbeque are shared with other guests if present. The villa has a separate laundry room (washing machine & tumble dryer) that can be used by the guests and the house offers free parking.
Although Villa Ca' Lucciola is a lovely family house, there are no special facilities for young children, such as baby beds or high chairs. The pool has no safety fences and is unsupervised. The staircases in the villa's cannot be closed off with safety gates. So young children should be monitored all the time.

Villa 51 features:

 - 1 bedroom with queen size (180x200 cm) bed including premium matrasses and comfort pillows
 - 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90x200 cm) including premium matrasses and comfort pillows
 - 1 luxurious bathroom with shower, bath and toilet (first floor)
 - Nicely decorated living room with romantic fire place (first floor)
 - 1 bathroom with shower and toilet (ground floor)
 - Private kitchen including all equipment with dining area and romantic fire place
 - Access to patio, shared swimming pool and garden

Studio 51 features:
 - Private entrance
 - 2 single beds (90x200 cm) including premium matrasses and comfort pillows
 - 1 bathroom with shower and toilet
 - Kitchenette including all equipment
 - Access to shared swimming pool and garden

NOTE: the WIFI at the house is not suitable for work related use

How to get there

The International airport of Ancona is less than 50 minutes away by car. Alternatively, Bologna Airport has frequent flights from many major European cities and is less than 2 hours away by car (via toll road). All airports have car rental agencies. Also the closest train station is Fano Station which is a 15 minute drive away from the Villa.  Make reservations for seats on the train  beforehand via the internet.
It is also possible to fly to Rome, Milano or other Italian cities. The drive to the house is a bit longer, but it provides a great opportunity to visit these cities, stay for a couple of days and then drive to the house.
